My ear pain has disappeared. Other comments said the case was slippery, I solved that with a hand towel. People complained it was too small, I placed it on top of my regular pillow, and it is just fine. A good purchase that has solved my problem.

I bought this specialty pillow for my husband because he had surgery on his ear and is a side sleeper. We got the smaller pillow. The pillow is great and his ear healed quickly without the pressure from a regular pillow. He says the pillow is very comfortable, but if he were buying it again would get a full size pillow.

After suffering for months with ear pain (a condition called CNH where cartilage is inflamed), I purchased 5 different pillows with a "hole" to get relief by "suspending" sore ear during the night. The only one that worked was PWAH. (Others were too thick or too thin (with no way to adjust fill), smelly, uncomfortable.) The PWAH pillow has allowed my ears to "calm down" considerably, and I am back to a good night's sleep. PWAH is comfortable, doesn't get warm during the night, is easy to care for, sized just right for travel, has easy-to-adjust fill, and was an easy transition from my cushy down pillow (that part surprised me the most). You can try to design your own DIY pillow with a hole (good luck with that!) like I did, but life is short so consider getting the real deal: Pillow With a Hole.
