农业农村部信息中心成立于1987年3月,为正局级事业单位,编制80人,内设12个处室。承担农业信息化规划布局、基础设施建设、平台构建、资源开发、技术应用、信息安全、舆情监测、信息分析、新媒体建设和信息服务等工作,逐步形成了横向为农业农村部机关及直属单位提供信息技术支持与服务、纵向为全国农业信息化大局服务的整体业务格局。
