作者简介
吴佩林，男，1973年生，四川达县人。历史学博士，法学博士后。西华师范大学特聘教授，中国人民大学法律与历史研究所副所长，北京法律文化研究中心研究员，中国法律史学会理事，中国法律文化研究会理事，四川省有杰出贡献的优秀专家，西华师范大学中国近现代史硕士点负责人。入选国家“文化名家暨四个一批”人才。国家社科基金重大项目“清代南部县衙档案整理与研究”首席专家。长期致力于地方文献的整理、研究与教学工作，主要研究方向为区域经济、法律与社会，中外关系史。
蔡东洲，男，汉族，1962年11月出生，四川平昌人。西华师范大学历史文化学院院长。1981年9月至1988年7月，在原南充师范学院历史系就读历史教育专业本科、中国古代史专业硕士研究生。1988年7月至今，在西华师范大学任教；其间1992年12月晋升为讲师，1994年12月晋升为副教授，1999年12月晋升为教授。1999年1月任西华师范大学科研处副处长。2001年6月任西华师范大学历史系副主任，主持工作（次年任主任）。2004年至今任历史文化学院院长。曾获“做出突出贡献的中国硕士学位获得者”“四川省教学名师”“四川省学术和技术带头人”等荣誉称号。主要从事中国古代史、巴蜀历史文献的研究。先后主持完成国家社科基金项目“清代南部县衙档案整理与研究”、*人文社会科学项目“关羽现象研究”、四川哲学社会科学规划项目“安丙及安丙墓研究”等课题。

州县档案与清史研究（代前言）

对清代历史的研究，州县档案与正史、方志、族谱、官箴书、日记等史料相比，有其独特的价值。充分利用州县档案不只是历史研究的一个努力方向，亦是一种重要的发展趋势。若善加利用，可以使研究者获得更加鲜活的文本，进而有可能得出更加贴近历史真实的结论。
正史一类的历史资料多是政治权力与意识形态的宣示，它不一定是历史事实的真实记录。陈寅恪就曾说过“清代官书未必尽可信赖”，因为实录“悉经改易”，而官书“多所讳饰”。国家法律、省例多为制度史的研究素材，往往不能反映具体的实践。“官箴书”因其本身负载有“规劝、告诫”的功能，多有表达理想中的“为官之道”或“为幕之道”的目的，即便是官员治理经验的总结，具有一定的可操作性，也未必就是著者为官行为的真实记录，在当时亦未必经过了实践层面的验证。而这些，当然不能成为，至少不能完全成为我们分析当时社会实际的手素材。
