内容简介
《稀见笔记丛刊·续耳谭》全称《新刻续耳谭》,一名《续耳谭》,明陈第《世善堂藏书目录》卷上著录「《续耳谈》十六卷」,无撰者姓氏,卷帙亦误。本书传本,未见。据《日藏汉籍善本书录》子部·小说家类著录,日本见存两种。一种原为江户时代林罗山旧藏,现为日本内阁文库藏本,凡六卷,六册,每卷署「慈溪刘忭、乌程沈遴奇、沈儆垣仝撰;抚东戴君赐参订,绣谷唐伯成校梓」;另一种原是日本服部文库旧藏,现藏日本早稻田大学,凡六卷,三册,署名「乌程李言、沈奇、沈垣仝撰;抚东戴君赐参订,绣谷唐伯成校梓」。丙书前均有「万历癸卯秋月吉旦东汝育和李自芳」撰《续耳谭引》。
  《稀见笔记丛刊·续耳谭》现在虽无刊本流传,但明清以来不乏记载。如明利瓦伊樾编《忠贞录》卷二选有《骑虎记》一篇,文末曰:「采掇乌程沈遴奇、沈儆垣《续耳谭》,瑞安王嘉荣述。」则作者为沈遴奇、沈儆垣,乌程人。清来集之《樵书初编》卷三《马殉主人》条言「李言《续耳谈》」。清程穆衡《水游传注略》、《断头沟》注释曰:「沈奇《续耳谈》。」则两种版本均有不同范围的传布。
