黄石公（约公元前292年-公元前195年），中国历史上著名的隐士，真实姓名已不可考。其弟子张良曾以谷城山道路旁边的一块黄石头，拿回家供奉起来以纪念恩师，故后人称此公为黄石公。著有《素书》、《三略》等书。

基于此理念，我们决定出版此套《谦德国学文库》，“谦德”，即本《周易》谦卦之精神。正如谦卦初六爻所言：“谦谦君子，用涉大川”，我们期冀以谦虚恭敬之心，用今注今译的方式，让古圣先贤的教诲能够普及到每一个人。引导有心的读者，透过扫除古老经典的文字障碍，从而进入经典的智慧之海。

在注译工作方面，版本上我们主要以主流学界公认的权威版本为底本，在此基础上参考古今学者的研究成果，使整套丛书的注译既能博采众长而又独具一格。今文白话不求字字对应，只在保证文意准确的基础上进行了梳理，使译文更加通俗晓畅，更能贴合现代读者的阅读习惯。
