　　郑哲敏主编的《20世纪中国知名科学家学术成就概览·力学卷》按传主生年先后结集卷册，卷首简要回顾20世纪的中国力学发展概况，卷尾附20世纪中国力学大事记。这与传文两相映照，力图反映出中国力学领域的百年发展脉络。
　　力学卷记述了近200位力学家的研究路径和学术生涯，全书以突出学术成就为重点，力求对学界同行的学术探索有所镜鉴，对青年学生的学术成长有所启迪。本卷分三分册出版，第二分册收录了57位力学家。

作者简介

　　郑哲敏院士，钱学森的学生；著名力学家、爆炸力学专家。中国工程院院士，中国科学院院士，美国国家工程学院外籍院士。早期在水弹性力学研究中取得成就。长期从事固体力学研究，开拓和发展了我国的爆炸力学事业。擅长运用力学理论解决工程实际问题，提出了流体弹塑性体模型和理论。倡导海洋工程力学、材料力学性能、环境灾害力学的研究，创建了中国科学院力学研究所非线性连续介质力学实验室，为推动我国力学事业的发展作出了贡献。从2008年起与李佩先生一起主持钱学森科学和教育思想研究会。荣获2012年度国家科学技术奖。
