These Newel Post Caps can be fitted to either existing or brand new Newel Posts. If you're planning to fit these caps to an existing post, you will need to drill a hole in the post big enough for the Bottom Dowel and fix securely using PVA Wood Adhesive.

* Full Cap measures 128mm high.
* The Spigot Dowel section measures 38mm x 28mm.

FITTING 90MM TURNED NEWEL POST CAPS
When fitting to new newel posts simply glue the spigot dowel on the cap into the pre-drilled hole on the top of the newel post.
If you are fitting to an existing post then drill a hole 38mm wide and 35mm deep then glue the cap using a suitable wood glue.
