Dieser Bindemittelanteil ist so gering daß die mittelfein geriebenen Pigmente gerade noch einen stabilen Verbund bekommen. Die außergewöhnliche Rezeptur die einen einzigartig starken Farbauftrag garantiert erfordert ein ebenso einzigartiges Herstellungsverfahren: die Manufaktur. In einem traditionellen und sehr aufwendigen Verfahren formen zunächst Schneckenpressen den vorgekneteten Teig zu runden Strängen die anschließend von Hand abgenommen und in drahtbespannten Rahmen auf die passende Länge geschnitten werden. Die noch feuchten Stifte müssen etwa 8 Tage an der Luft trocknen bis sie dann von Hand etikettiert werden. Ein maschinelles Produzieren unserer Pastelle ist aufgrund der besonders feinen Rezepturen nicht möglich - die kostbaren Stifte könnten zerbrechen. Es wird höchster Wert gelegt auf die garantierte Konstanz von Qualität und Weichheit über alle Produktionen hinweg d.h. der Künstler kann sicher sein jederzeit seinen Farbton in gleicher Qualität vorzufinden. Das komplette Sortiment umfasst 400 Farbtöne die in 80 Reihen à 5 Farbtöne eingeteilt sind. Das über alle Farbnuancen ausgewogene Sortiment enthält auch 5 spezielle Perleffekt-Farbtöne.
