Anwendungszweck:
Teststreifen für die quantitative In-vitro-Bestimmung der Prothombin-Zeit von kapillarem Vollblut oder nicht antikoaguliertem venösem Vollblut mithilfe eines CoaguChek XS/XS Plus/XS Pro Geräts. Zur Selbstanwendung geeignet. Auch als Quick-Test bzw. Quick-Wert oder unter der Abkürzung PT bekannt.
Testprinzip:
Elektrochemische Messung der Prothrombinzeit nach Aktivierung der Blutgerinnung mit rekombinantem Humanthromboplastin. Jeder Teststreifen enthält ein Testfeld mit einem Prothrombinreagenz. Sobald das Blut aufgetragen ist, wird das Reagenz gelöst und eine elektrochemische Reaktion findet statt, die in einen Wert der Gerinnungszeit umgewandelt wird. Dieser Wert wird auf dem Gerätedisplay in INR-Einheiten angezeigt.1-2
Messbereich und therapeutischer Bereich:
Die Messergebnisse am CoaguChek XS/XS Plus/XS Pro Gerät können in folgenden Einheiten angezeigt werden: INR (International Normalized Ratio), % Quick und Sekunden. Die Messbereiche sind wie folgt: 0.8-8.0 INR (5-120 % Quick). Ihr individueller therapeutischer Bereich wird von Ihrem behandelnden Arzt festgelegt. Die Zuordnung zwischen INR und % Quick kann in Abhängigkeit von der Teststreifencharge von CoaguChek XS PT Test geringfügig schwanken.
Vorgehensweise bei Messergebnissen außerhalb des therapeutischen Bereiches:
Bei ungewöhnlich niedrigen oder hohen Messergebnissen ist der Test zu wiederholen. Liegt das Messergebnis noch immer außerhalb des vom Arzt vorgegebenen therapeutischen Bereichs, ist der behandelnde Arzt sofort zu benachrichtigen und eine Absprache hinsichtlich der weiteren (Antikoagulations-) Maßnahmen vorzunehmen, um einer Gefährdung durch zu starke Antikoagulation (Blutungsgefahr) oder zu geringe Antikoagulation (Thrombosegefahr) vorzubeugen.
Hinweise zur PT-Selbstbestimmung:
Erfolgt in Ergänzung zur Behandlung durch den Arzt eine PT-Selbstbestimmung durch den Patienten, ist Folgendes zu beachten: Die PT-Selbstbestimmung unterstützt die ärztliche Kontrolle, kann sie jedoch nicht ersetzen. Die PT-Selbstbestimmung gibt dem antikoagulierten Patienten mehr Sicherheit im Alltag. Die ermittelten Messergebnisse sollten in ein Tagebuch (Patienten-Pass) eingetragen und dem Arzt regelmäßig vorgelegt werden. Sie erleichtern dem Arzt damit die Beurteilung der Qualität der Therapieeinstellung.
Probenmaterial:
Ausschließlich frisches Kapillarblut oder venöses Vollblut ohne Antikoagulanzien (Heparin, EDTA, Citrat, Oxalat oder andere Substanzen) verwenden. Falls Sie Kapillaren benutzen, verwenden Sie bitte nur die speziellen CoaguChek Kapillarröhrchen ([ref] 11621173).
Lagerung und Haltbarkeit:
Bei 2-30°C aufbewahren. Bei Aufbewahrung bei Raumtemperatur oder im Kühlschrank können die Teststreifen bis zu dem auf der Packung bzw. dem Teststreifenbehälter angegebenen Verfallsdatum aufbewahrt werden. Teststreifen nicht über das angegebene Verfallsdatum hinaus verwenden. Röhre nach Entnahme eines Teststreifens sofort wieder fest verschließen. Dies ist erforderlich, damit die übrigen Teststreifen nicht durch äußere Einwirkungen wie beispielsweise Luftfeuchtigkeit unbrauchbar werden.
