Description:
1.DICE - Diagnostic Communication Equipment, is a tool used with an all-in-one computer to communicate with the vehicle. We do not sell the STUPID DICE revised from J2534, as it does not support full functionality and updates. The communication enables the vehicle to be diagnosed and troubleshooted.
2.DICE has an integrated CARB cable that connects to the vehicle's diagnostic socket. When connected to the vehicle, the DiCE is powered as long as the battery is fully charged.
3.DICE has a folding hook designed to hang the unit on one of the vehicle's handlebars.
4. On one end of the device, there is a DC input to which a battery cable or adapter (12V) can be connected. The adapter is used for DICE upgrades and troubleshooting.
5. On the other end of the device, there is a removable cover that can be removed by turning the screws on the cover.
DICE requirements for computers:
1. Must be Windows 7 Professional operating system
2. Internet Explorer 9 or above is required
3. Effective computer memory (RAM) needs to be more than 3GRAM
4. C:// must have 30GB space
5. Must be installed on C://

Q: If "Communication Tools" shows an "X"
A: Just run the file EnableIEHostingx86.reg for 32-bit systems or EnableIEHostingx64.reg for 64-bit systems. These files can be found in the folder INSTALL->Utils. Just run these files as administrator and everything is working now!
Q: I get an error "Safe but not OK" when installing. How to solve the problem?
A: You need to install on a Win7 32-bit PC.
Q: Does Dice have coding programming capabilities? Can the dashboard language be changed?
A: No, it is a full scanner for old and new cars, but it cannot program or change the language.
Q: I have a 2014D and Dice, I am curious in which module can I change the "Speed Auto Lock" function?
A: You need to be able to read/write both the DIM and ICM flash memory. You have two options. Either reload it at your local dealer or someone with an automatic interface. You can also buy some interfaces that can read/write DIM but not ICM.
Q: When using it, there is a problem communicating with all the modules in the car. Modules such as ECU, TCU are not in the network, but I have connections with climate control, CEM and front doors, etc. In the network screen I have the ECU and TCU red and text is not communicating.
A: We know that Dice is J2534-2 compatible, while Avdi is only J2534-1 compatible, which will cause the inability to communicate with all modules. I am using a Dice clone and my clone is 1:1 full stack, same as the original. I started with the 2008 version and have now upgraded one by one to the 2014d version.
