Rechargeable Battery Installation Guide
These are general instructions and may differ according to model. Please have a qualified watchmaker handle the installation if you are unsure of this process.
- Warning: DO NOT use a battery tester/voltmeter on these rechargeable batteries, as this may affect the ability of the battery to hold a charge.
- Remove watchband and/or case protector to access caseback
- Open caseback - usually with small philips screwdriver
- Remove rubber shock protector
- Unclip metal battery clamp by pushing down and away with tweezers
- Note position of battery and remove spent battery
- Insert new battery in same orientation as spent battery
- Reset Module by short circuiting the "AC" contact to the back of the battery with tweezers
- Ensure that caseback gasket is properly seated and lubricated
- Re-install rubber shock protector
- Re-install caseback
- Re-install strap and/or case protector
- For Solar, place watch in strong sunlight or wear watch in sunlight
- If your watch does not operate normally, double check the battery installation, charging method and duration, or visit your local watchmaker for movement inspection

Tips for installing your capacitor/battery:
- DO NOT test the voltage for this capacitor as this will result in damage.
- Remember how the old capacitor was originally installed and install the new capacitor just as the old capacitor was installed.
- Use latex gloves and plastic tweezers if possible.
- There are many tutorials available on the internet on how to replace the battery in your watch.
- All orders are processed and shipped within 24 business hours after receiving payment. This excludes weekends and holidays.
- In addition, all orders are shipped the SAME BUSINESS DAY if placed and cleared before 3:00 P.M. PST.
- Please be advised that if you select the USPS First Class shipping option, delivery can take anywhere from 1-5 weeks depending on the location.
