Flossing beschleunigt den Wiedereinstieg nach Verletzung in Ihr Training. Außerdem werden Gewebeverklebungen gelöst.Es kann vorbeugend vor und nach dem Sport angewendet werden. Das Flossband wird oft auch Voodoo- oder Ninja Band genannt. Es handelt sich um ein 5 cm breites und 2 m langes Gummiband. Das Band ist 4-7x so dick wie ein mittleres Gymnastikband. Beim Flossing wird ein bestimmtes Körperareal mit einem speziellen Gummiband abgeschnürt. Dadurch werden alle fließenden Ströme im Zielbereich unterbrochen. Das bedeutet die Blutzufuhr wird auf ein Minimum begrenzt. Von außen wirkt also ein enormer Druck auf die abgeschnürte Stelle.
