The following four steps will help you use it effectively:
Step 1: Prepare your eyelashes by ensuring they are clean. Use a gentle cleanser or makeup remover to remove any remaining mascara or makeup. Starting with clean lashes provides a smooth base.
Step 2: Open the mascara tube and wipe off any excess product from the wand by running it along the edge of the tube. Apply the mascara by holding the wand vertically and pointing the bristles towards your eyelashes. This helps to achieve an even coat without clumps.
Step 3: After applying mascara with the regular wand, use a mascara fan brush to separate and define your lashes. Hold the fan brush horizontally with the bristles facing outward to enhance lash definition.
Step 4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 if desired. After applying a second coat of mascara with the regular wand, use the fan brush again to separate lashes and add volume or length. Allow each coat to dry briefly before applying the next to prevent smudging or clumping.
