How to use
Initial Setup:
Turn on your Garmin S62 by holding the power button. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up language, units, and time zone. Ensure GPS is enabled for course mapping.
Select a Course:
Before you start playing, select “Play Golf” on the main screen. The watch will load nearby golf courses; choose your course from the list to start tracking.
Using the Hole View:
The Hole View screen displays the hole’s layout, including distances to the front, middle, and back of the green. Swipe up or down to see yardages and adjust the pin location if needed.
Tracking Shots:
To measure your shot distance, select “Measure Shot,” then walk to your ball to get an accurate distance reading. This feature helps you understand your range with different clubs.
Hazard and Layup Information:
Use the hazard view to see distances to water, bunkers, and other obstacles. The watch will give you exact distances, helping you plan safe shots.
Virtual Caddie:
The Virtual Caddie recommends clubs based on your previous shots and factors like wind direction and speed. It will appear on your screen after you’ve played several rounds and saved data.
Scorekeeping:
Record your score after each hole by selecting “Scorecard.” This lets you keep track of your performance throughout the game.
Post-Round Review:
After your round, sync the watch with the Garmin Golf app to analyze your performance, review shot history, and track your stats over time
