How do I know what I need?
It is recommended that you purchase baseplates (xxx) to keep bins in place.
1) Determine the size of the baseplates you need
a) Measure the inside of your drawer (sample drawer: 11.25 inch wide x 17 inch deep)
b) Divide each measurement by 1.653 inch to determine how may squares you can fit in your drawer (sample drawer: 11.25 inch: 1.653 = 6.805 and 17 inches: 1.653 = 10.28)
c) Determine baseplate sizes (sample drawer will fit 6 x 10 squares)
Maximum baseplates size is 5x5 squares, but you can add on as needed and the bins will interlock multiple baseplates. In our sample we can fit 2 of the 5x5 square baseplates and 2 of the 1x5 squares baseplates.
2) Determine the size of bins you need for your items.
