How to use the INTERTOOL Professional Foam Sealant Gun PT-0606:
1) Retrieve a compatible sealant twist/screw canister. Do NOT use with straw or tube tipped canisters. Ensure to wear the proper safety equipment according to the foam canister’s instructions
2) Shake the canister as instructed on the foam canister for a thorough mixture and remove the canister cover
3) Ensure that the gun’s flow control knob is in the closed position by turning the knob all the way in a clockwise direction
4) Place the canister in an upright position on a stable surface. Align the foam gun’s canister connection point with the thread on the top of the upright canister and tighten. Note: screw until finger-tight; do not over-tighten
5) The foam gun is now ready for use. Grip the foam gun, point at a test surface, and gently squeeze the trigger while activating the flow control knob by twisting it counter-clockwise until the desired bead size / flow amount is reached
6) Once the desired bead size / flow amount is reached, place the tip of the gun against the objective and slowly apply pressure to the trigger to begin the foam application
7) When finished, twist the control knob clockwise until closed. The foam gun can be left attached to the canister with the canister stored right side up for up to 30 days, or as specified on the foam canister instructions. Ensure to close the flow control knob when stored. The canister can also be removed and compatible cleaning solution should be applied promptly to remove any residual foam left in or on the gun
8) Ensure to run cleaning solution through the gun until no further foam residue remains. Remove cleaning solution can after cleaning. Foam gun can be re-used with the same canister or a new canister
