Beschreibung:
Lavasorb ist eine gebrauchsfertige Lösung zur Reinigung und Spülung sowie zur Befeuchtung und Dekontamination von Hautwunden. Sie ist ferner zur Befeuchtung von Wundverbänden vorgesehen. ontraoperativ wird Lavasorb ebenfalls zur Reinigung und Spülung angewendet. Lavasorb enthält als Konservierungsmittel Polyhexanid, welches zusätzlich antimikrobiell wirkt. Macrogol (Polyethylenglycol 4000) dient zur Optimierung der Befeuchtung der Wundoberfläche durch Reduzierung der Oberflächenspannung. Polyhexanid verhindert das Wachstum von Bakterien und Pilzen in der Lösung nach dem ersten Öffnen des Behältnisses sowie im Wundverband.
Zusammensetzung:
1 Liter enthält: Polyhexanidum 0,40 g, Macrogolum 4000 0,02 g, Natriumchlorid 8,60 g, Calciumchlorid Dihydrat 0,33 g, Kaliumchlorid 0,30 g, gereinigtes Wasser ad 1 Liter. Theoretische Osmolarität: 309 mosmol/l.
Anwendung:
Wundreinigung/Wundspülung/Wunddekontamination durch direkte Anwendung auf der Wunde.Befeuchten von Kompressen, die 10 - 15 Minuten lang zum Lösen von Biofilmen auf der Wunde gelassen werden.Mit einer antimikrobiellen Wirkung auf der Wunde ist erst nach einer Einwirkzeit von > 30 Minuten zu rechnen.Wundreinigung mit befeuchtetem Zellstoff oder Tupfer.Intensive Befeuchtung von Wundverbänden zur Erleichterung des Verbandwechsels.
Anwendungsbeschränkungen:
Lavasorb - Wundspüllösung ist nicht zur Infusion oder Injektion bestimmt.Lavasorb darf nicht angewendet werden im Fall einer Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem der Bestandteile von Lavasorb.Wenn die Lösung nicht klar und/oder das Behältnis beschädigt ist.Zur Anwendung bei Kindern und Babies fehlen ausreichende Erfahrungen, so dass die Anwendung von Lavasorb in dieser Altersgruppe nur in Erwägung gezogen werden sollte, wenn dies zwingend angezeigt ist.Zur Anwendung in der Schwangerschaft fehlen noch ausreichende Erfahrungswerte. Daher soll Lavasorb nicht in den ersten vier Monaten der Schwangerschaft angewendet werden und in den folgenden nur, wenn der zu erwartende Nutzen die potentiellen Risiken rechtfertigt.
Hinweise zur Lagerung und Handhabung:
Nicht über 25°C lagern. Vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung schützen.Außerhalb der Sicht- und Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.Lavasorb nicht nach Ablauf des auf dem Etikett angegebenen Verfalldatums anwenden.Diese Lösung ist vor dem Öffnen der Flasche steril. Bei der Handhabung und Anwendung von sterilen Spüllösungen sind die Grundsätze aseptischen Arbeitens einzuhalten.Die Haltbarkeit nach Öffnen der Flasche beträgt 6 Wochen.Die Flasche muss unmittelbar nach Gebrauch wieder verschlossen und die Flaschenöffnung muss vor einer Kontamination durch direkten Kontakt geschützt werden.Flaschen, die mit der Wunde in Kontakt kamen, müssen nach Gebrauch verworfen werden.Lavasorb kann unmittelbar vor der Anwendung auf Körpertemperatur erwärmt werden.Nicht verwendetes Produkt sollte in Übereinstimmung mit den lokalen Vorschriften entsorgt werden.Das Behältnis ist recycelbar.
Gefahren/ Erste-Hilfe-Maßnahmen:
Schädlich bei Verschlucken. Verschlucken: Den Mund mit Wasser spülen. Wenn mehr als 20 ml verschluckt wurden, Erbrechen herbeiführen. Einen Arzt zu Rate ziehen.
