Polish is a Slavic language spoken primarily in Poland and the native language of the Poles. It belongs to the Lechitic subgroup of West Slavic languages. Polish is the official language of Poland, but it is also used throughout the world by Polish minorities in other countries. It is one of the official languages of the European Union. Polish is closely related to Kashubian, Lower Sorbian, Upper Sorbian, Czech and Slovak.

This foreign language course was developed by The Foreign Services institute.  It is meant to be used as a crash course in a foreign language for basic conversational ability by a foreign traveler or diplomat.  It is an introductory course meant for beginners and includes basic conversational language by native speakers.

This course consists a FAST Intro course with 14 lessons in mp3 format, with 1 student text in PDF format of over 400 pages.  Adobe Reader is required to view the PDF files, while the mp3 files can be listened to by any audio player on your PC.

Total run time of course: 3 hours, 10 minutes, 50 seconds.
