1. Turn off the computer and remove all AC power adapters and cables.
2. Turn on ThinkPad When the ThinkPad logo appears, immediately press F1 key to enter the ThinkPad Setup program.
3. Choose "Config" and "Power". "Power" sub-menu.
4. Select the "Disable built-in battery" menu.
5. When you click "Yes" in the "Setup Warning" window, the computer will turn off automatically. Wait for 3 to 5 minutes until the temperature of your computer is down.
6.Connect the AC adapter and start the battery will be recognized.
