This is the right set is you have the curiosity of owning a big chess set, but want something that is affordable and easy to carry. This MegaChess set comes with an attractive storage box with a carry strap, and a vinyl chessboard. The quality of this chess set is far superior to the other chess sets seen on the market.

The plastic MegaChess pieces are made of rugged, waterproof, and UV-resistant injection-molded, hollow plastic. Light enough to take on any outing, you can count on people (especially kids) to walk up and make friends!

And yes, you can weight these pieces! It will take a little work, but you can drill a small hole in the base through the felt. Fill with fine sand. Drip household glue in hole. Let glue-sand mix dry to form hole plug.
