Der All-in-one-Schaumverband Mepilex Border Flex weist eine außergewöhnliche Haftfähigkeit auf. Er kann vielseitig für die Behandlung von mittelstark bis sehr stark exsudierenden Wunden eingesetzt werden, z.B. Ulcus cruris, Hautabrisse, Ablederungen sowie traumatischen Wunden. Die einzigartige Flex-Technologie ermöglicht eine 360-Grad-Dehnung des Verbands, wodurch er sich an den Körper anpassen lässt - und sogar bei Wunden an schwierig zu verbindenden Körperarealen verwendet werden kann. Außerdem kann er im Vergleich zu anderen Wundverbänden länger getragen werden (an Knien und Ellbogen im Vergleich zu anderen quadratischen Verbänden). Zusätzlich wird sowohl bei normalem als auch viskösem Exsudat ein besseres Exsudatmanagement ermöglicht. Bei Tests des Flüssigkeitsrückhaltevermögens übertraf Mepilex Border Flex alle anderen All-in-one-Verbände um sagenhafte 125% an Leistung. Die einzigartige Haftfähigkeit des Wundverbandes verhindert eine vorzeitige Ablösung. Dadurch erhalten Sie mehr Kontrolle über die Häufigkeit der Verbandwechsel.
Der Schaumverband mit Superabsorber absorbiert Bakterien und leitet sie durch den Verband in die spezielle Retentionsschicht, in welcher die Bakterien zurückgehalten werden. Sobald die Bakterien in der Schicht gefangen sind, können sie nicht mehr in das Wundbett gelangen, sogar dann nicht, wenn sich der Verband unter Druck befindet. Der Wundverband mit fünf Schichten verfügt zudem über Safetac, die originale Kontaktschicht mit Silikonhaftung, die die Schmerzen beim Verbandwechsel minimiert. Sie liegt sanft auf der Haut auf, ohne mit der feuchten Wunde zu verkleben, sodass Sie den Verband ganz leicht entfernen können, ohne die Haut zu beschädigen.
