Die Omegon SWA-Serie stellt einen neuen Meilenstein unter den Superweitwinkelokularen dar.
Superweitwinkelokulare überzeugen schon lange durch ihr extrem weites Eigengesichtsfeld. Erst mit den SWA wurde der sogenannte Space-Walk-Effekt - fast wie der Blick durch ein Raumschifffenster - Wirklichkeit.
Leistungsfähige Okulare für lichtstarke Teleskope
Im Wesentlichen unterscheiden sich die neuen Omegon SWA-Okulare durch ein neueres äußeres wie inneres Design gegenüber älteren SWA-Okularen. Äußerlich wurden eine griffigere Gummierung und neue Augenmuscheln angebracht, die nicht nur bequem sind, sondern auch den Beobachtungskomfort steigern.
Im optischen Bereich finden jetzt fünf Glaselemente Verwendung, die je nach Brennweite in drei oder vier Gruppen angeordnet sind. Sie schaffen ein Eigengesichtsfeld von 70° mit randscharfer und fast verzerrungsfreier Abbildung. 70° Gesichtsfeld kann das menschliche Auge noch sehr gut überblicken, ohne dass Blickänderungen im Okular ausgeführt werden müssen. Auch bei relativ schnellen, kurzbrennweitigen Systemen können diese Okulare noch eingesetzt werden.
Durch eine neue Breitband-Multivergütung konnte auch der Lichtdurchlass noch einmal erhöht werden. Alle Linsenkanten sind geschwärzt und das innere Blendensystem trägt noch einmal entschieden zur Streulichtreduzierung bei. Erst durch die hohe Transparenz der Glasflächen und die verminderten Reflexionen kann ein wirklich kontrastreiches Bild gewährleistet werden.

Die Omegon SWA-Serie besteht aus sechs Okularen: 38mm, 32mm, 26mm, 20mm, 15mm und 10mm. Die 38mm, 32mm und 26mm Okulare werden in 2" Ausführung geliefert. Dadurch sind sie hervorragend für die Deep-Sky Beobachtung geeignet und bieten riesige reale Gesichtsfelder.
