This pond kit offers tremendous value for money. The set components have been carefully selected to ensure that they complement each other and offer proven reliability. The 5x4m pond liner is manufactured from UV-resistant LDPE - 20sqm of underlay is also provided to protect the liner. The Pond Filter supplied in the set is the pondXpert EasyFilter 4500 with built-in 7 watt UVC. The filter, compact in size ( 37cm high x 27cm wide), contains filter sponges for mechanical filtration and bio-balls to encourage biological cleaning. The pond pump is a FlowMaster 3500 from PondXpert - it is supplied with a fountain kit. The body of the pump has a 'secondary' strainer in front of the pump impellor. Simply remove this secondary strainer and solid particles will be sucked up by the pump and passed through to the filter. The pump has an operating power of 42 watts and can achieve a flow rate of 3500 litres per hour (if pumping up to a height of 1m the pump stillachieves 2500lph). Both items are fully guaranteed for a period of 12 months. Also included in the set is a 5m length (16') length of reinforced black PVC pond hose with four 25mm pond clips to ensure everything is kept watertight.
