Was ist Psoribene Gel und wozu wird es angewendet?
Psoribene Gel wird angewendet zur Schuppenentfernung bei erkrankter Haut, z.B. bei Psoriasis. Es handelt sich um ein schuppenlösendes Oleogel (Ölgel) zur topischen Behandlung vermehrter Hautschuppen und Plaques bei Psoriasis (Schuppenflechte) an Kopfhaut und Körper. Durch das Oleogel werden zunächst die Schuppen gelöst. Durch Zugabe von Wasser entsteht eine milchig-trübe, wasserlösliche Emulsion, in der sich die in Öl gelösten Schuppen mit Wasser verbinden. Die entstandene Emulsion lässt sich einfach mit lauwarmem Wasser abspülen.
Was müssen sie vor der Anwendung von Psoribene Gel beachten?
Psoribene Gel darf nicht angewendet werden, wenn Sie überempfindlich (allergisch) gegen einen der Inhaltsstoffe sind (siehe unter Was Psoribene Gel enthält). Bei Auftreten von Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen sollte Psoribene Gel vorsichtig abgewaschen und nicht wieder angewendet werden. Bitte kontaktieren Sie gegebenenfalls Ihren Arzt.
Bitte beachten Sie die folgenden Hinweise bei der Anwendung von Psoribene Gel:
Psoribene Gel ist zur äußerlichen Anwendung bestimmt. Bei der Anwendung sollte darauf geachtet werden, dass Psoribene Gel nicht in die Augen gelangt. Nicht auf offene Wunden auftragen. Durch Psoribene Gel werden Schuppen und Plaques gelöst die erneute Bildung von Schuppen wird jedoch nicht beeinflusst.
Bei Anwendung von Psoribene Gel zusammen mit Pflegeprodukten oder Arzneimitteln:
Wenden Sie Psoribene Gel nicht gleichzeitig mit anderen Produkten zur Schuppenentfernung an. Wenn Sie andere äußerlich aufzutragende Produkte anwenden möchten, sollte Psoribene Gel zunächst sorgfältig abgespült und die Haut anschließend vorsichtig trocken getupft werden.
Wie ist Psoribene Gel anzuwenden?
Wenden Sie Psoribene Gel immer genau nach den Anweisungen in dieser Packungsbeilage an. Bitte fragen Sie bei Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker nach, wenn Sie sich nicht sicher sind.
Anwendung an Rumpf und Extremitäten:
Eine dünne Schicht Psoribene Gel mit trockenen Fingern auf die trockene Haut auftragen. Mit kreisförmigen Bewegungen das Gel behutsam auf den betroffenen Hautarealen verteilen. Die betroffenen Areale sollten vollständig mit Psoribene Gel bedeckt sein. Circa 1/2 bis 1 Stunde lang einwirken lassen. Bei Bedarf ist es möglich, Psoribene Gel auch über Nacht einwirken zu lassen. Anschließend tropfenweise Wasser auf die eingeweichten Schuppen geben und vorsichtig kreisförmig verteilen. Es entsteht eine milchig-trübe, wasserlösliche Mischung (Emulsion). Die entstandene Emulsion mit reichlich lauwarmem Wasser abspülen. Hierbei Augenkontakt möglichst vermeiden! Anschließend die betroffenen Areale mit einem weichen Handtuch sanft trocken tupfen.
Anwendung auf der behaarten Kopfhaut:
Psoribene Gel entfernt auch auf der behaarten Kopfhaut zuverlässig Schuppen. Hierzu ist es wichtig, dass eine ausreichende Menge Psoribene Gel auf die betroffenen Areale der Kopfhaut aufgetragen wird. Bei längeren Haaren ist es hilfreich, vorab die umliegenden Haare mit einem Kamm abzugrenzen und mit Haarklammern oder Haarspangen abzustecken. Dann eine dünne Schicht Psoribene Gel mit trockenen Fingern auf die trockene Kopfhaut auftragen und behutsam mit kleinen kreisenden Bewegungen verteilen. Bei größeren betroffenen Arealen systematisch Stück für Stück Psoribene Gel auftragen, um eine gleichmäßige Verteilung auf der Kopfhaut zu erreichen. Die Haare aus den Bereichen, auf denen Psoribene Gel bereits aufgetragen wurde, können dann ebenfalls mit Klammern beiseite gesteckt werden, um nicht beim weiteren Auftragen zu stören. Die betroffenen Areale sollten vollständig mit Psoribene Gel bedeckt sein. Circa 1/2 bis 1 Stunde lang einwirken lassen. Bei Bedarf Psoribene Gel über Nacht einwirken lassen. Um zu vermeiden, dass Psoribene Gel auf das Kopfkissen gelangt, können Sie ein Handtuch unter den Kopf legen. Anschließend tropfenweise Wasser auf die eingeweichten Schuppen geben und behutsam kreisförmig verteilen. Es entsteht eine milchig-trübe, wasserlösliche Mischung (Emulsion). Dauer der Anwendung:
Die Anwendung erfolgt in der Regel 1 x täglich bis eine zufriedenstellende Schuppenentfernung erreicht ist. In der Regel genügen hierfür 3 bis 7 Tage. Bei Wiederauftreten der Schuppen kann die Anwendung wiederholt werden.
Welche Nebenwirkungen sind möglich?
Wie alle Medizinprodukte kann Psoribene Gel Nebenwirkungen haben, die aber nicht bei jedem auftreten müssen. Informieren Sie bitte Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker, wenn eine der aufgeführten Nebenwirkungen Sie erheblich beeinträchtigt oder Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die nicht in dieser Gebrauchsinformation angegeben sind. Wie ist Psoribene Gel aufzubewahren?
Bewahren Sie Psoribene Gel für Kinder unzugänglich auf. Nicht über 25°C lagern. Nach dem ersten Öffnen ist Psoribene Gel 3 Monate haltbar. Das Verfalldatum ist auf der Faltschachtel und auf dem Tubenfalz aufgedruckt. Verwenden Sie das Medizinprodukt nicht mehr nach diesem Datum.
