The Silk’n Dual LED mask contains a total of 115 powerful LED lights in 3 colours (red, dark red and blue). Each colour works at a different wavelength and targets a specific concern to improve and restore the condition of the skin. The wavelength is referred to below in nm, which stands for nanometre. This indicates how deeply the light can penetrate the skin. Red LED light, for example, penetrates deeper into the skin than blue LED light and is able to reach the dermis. Blue LED light on the other hand, mainly works on the surface, the epidermis.
The Dual LED mask works with 4 modes, each having another goal. Within each mode the light is emitted with 40,000 light pulses per second for better results, in particular improved collagen production.
