Bestandteile:
1 Stift a 1,0 g enthält: Hartfett, Basisches Bismutgallat, Tannin.
Eigenschaften:
Stryphnasal N Nasenstifte werden zur mechanischen Stillung von Nasenbluten eingesetzt. Der Nasenstift sollte für mindestens 10 bis 15 Minuten in der Nase verbleiben. Dabei wird durch den mechanischen Druck des Stiftes das geplatzte Blutgefäß zusammengedrückt. Die Blutung kommt zum Stillstand. Das in den Nasenstiften enthaltene Hartfett schmilzt bei Körpertemperatur. Dadurch wird die Nasenschleimhaut leicht eingefettet und geschmeidig. Beim Herausnehmen des Reststiftes wird der Wundverschluss auf diese Weise geschont und die Wunde fängt nicht erneut an zu bluten.
Anwendung:
Zuerst entnehmen Sie einen Stryphnasal N Nasenstift aus der Kunststofffolie. Führen Sie im Sitzen (nicht im Liegen!) den Stift mit der Spitze zuerst vorsichtig in das blutende Nasenloch ein. Dann halten Sie ein Taschentuch oder einen Wattebausch darunter und drücken den Stift leicht in die Nase. Nach Stillstand der Blutung kann man den nicht geschmolzenen Teil ohne Schwierigkeiten herausnehmen. Bei längerem Verbleib in der Nase schmilzt der Stift vollständig.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen für die Anwendung:
Bei bekannter Allergie gegen einen der Inhaltsstoffe sollen Stryphnasal N Nasenstifte nicht angewendet werden. Beim Gebrauch sind Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen nicht auszuschließen, die Stifte sollen dann nicht erneut angewendet werden. Solange sich der Nasenstift in der Nase befindet, soll der Patient sitzen oder stehen und sich nicht hinlegen. Bei einer Anwendung bei Kindern ist darauf zu achten, dass der Nasenstift nicht zu tief in das Nasenloch hineingeschoben wird. Starkes oder häufiges Nasenbluten oder Nasenbluten nach Unfällen kann schwerwiegende Ursachen haben. In diesen Fällen ist eine Abklärung der Ursache durch einen Facharzt notwendig.
Wichtige Hinweise:
Das Verfalldatum dieser Packung ist auf der Faltschachtel und der Kunststoffform aufgedruckt. Verwenden Sie diese Packung nicht mehr nach diesem Datum. Verwenden Sie die Stryphnasal N Nasenstifte nicht mehr, wenn sie durch Wärmeeinwirkung in der Form geschmolzen waren und eine scharfe Form angenommen haben. Verwenden Sie gebrauchte Stryphnasal N Nasenstifte nicht noch einmal. Stryphnasal N Nasenstifte sollen vor Hitze (Sonnenbestrahlung oder Heizung) geschützt aufbewahrt werden. Für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahren. Nicht über 25°C aufbewahren! Stryphnasal N Nasenstifte erhalten Sie in der Apotheke.
Tipps zur Entnahme der Stifte aus der Kunststofffolie:
Stryphnasal N Nasenstifte ist ein Hartfettstift, der in Riegeln a 5 Nasenstiften verpackt ist. Die 5 Stifte sind einzeln mit der jeweiligen Verpackung durch Abreißperforation voneinander trennbar, sodass sie einzeln entnommen werden können. Zur Entnahme des Stiftes können Sie die doppelte Kunststofffolie am oberen geriffelten Ende einfach mit beiden Händen auseinanderziehen. Als Vorbereitung ist zu empfehlen, einen 5er-Riegel in 5 einzelne weiterhin verpackte Nasenstifte zu trennen und jeweils den doppelt geriffelten Teil ein wenig auseinander zu biegen. So zurechtgemacht sollte dann selbst bei Nasenbluten eine Entnahme gut möglich sein.
