Eigenschaften:
Saugfähige Wundauflage aus Calciumalginat und Hydrokolloid. UrgoSorb ist eine sterile Wundauflage aus Calciumalginat und Hydrokolloidpartikeln (Natriumcarboxymethylcellulose), beides natürliche Polymere, die für ihre starke Absorptionsfähigkeit bekannt sind. UrgoSorb ist eine Wundauflage, welche die Wundheilung begünstigt, indem sie in Kontakt mit dem Wundexsudat ein Gel bildet. UrgoSorb lässt sich selbst im feuchten Zustand leicht in einem Stück entfernen, ohne Schmerzen zu verursachen.
Bei dem Produkt handelt es sich um ein Medizinprodukt. Bitte lesen Sie die Hinweise in der Packungsbeilage sorgfältig durch und machen sich vor der Nutzung ausreichend mit den Funktionen und der Verwendung vertraut.
Anwendungshinweise:
Vorbereitung der Wunde: Die Wunde mit physiologischer Kochsalzlösung reinigen. Nach der Anwendung von Antibiotika, Kortikoiden oder antiseptischen alkalischen Lösungen, die Wunde mit physiologischer Kochsalzlösung spülen. Die Wundumgebung mit einer sterilen Kompresse abtrocknen.Auflegen der Wundauflage: Legen Sie UrgoSorb direkt auf die Wunde auf. Bei Unterschenkelgeschwüren mit mäßiger bis schwacher Exsudation ist die Kompresse vor dem Auflegen auf die Wunde mit physiologischer Kochsalzlösung anzufeuchten. UrgoSorb mit einem zusätzlichen Verband befestigen, z.B. mit Kompressen und einer Fixierbinde, um ein Verrutschen zu vermeiden. Im Falle eines Druckgeschwüres im Sakralbereich oder von Inkontinenz, UrgoSorb mit einer dünnen Hydrokolloid-Wundauflage abdecken. Das verbleibende Verbandmaterial gemäß den lokalen Entsorgungsverfahren und Richtlinien entsorgen.Verbandwechsel: Den Wundverband UrgoSorb wechseln, wenn die maximale Saugkraft erschöpft ist. Die Häufigkeit des Verbandwechsels ist abhängig von der Wunde und variiert zwischen 1 mal pro Tag im Rahmen der Wundreinigung von fibrinös-nekrotischen Belägen sowie bei stark nässenden oder infizierten Wunden und jeden 2. Tag bei weniger stark nässenden Wunden.Entfernen der Wundauflage: Entfernen Sie den Sekundärverband und lösen Sie UrgoSorb anschließend ab. Bei Unterschenkelgeschwüren kann UrgoSorb vorher mit physiologischer Kochsalzlösung angefeuchtet werden, um das Entfernen zu erleichtern. Erneuern Sie die UrgoSorb-Wundauflage wie oben beschrieben.Anwendung der UrgoSorb-Tamponade: Kavitäre und tiefliegende Wunden (offenes Druckgeschwür) locker mit UrgoSorb-Tamponade auskleiden, ohne übermäßigen Druck auszuüben. Während der Gelbildung passt sich die UrgoSorb-Tamponade an die Form der Wunde an. Die UrgoSorb-Tamponade kann einfach und in einem Stück aus der Wunde entfernt werden. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Tamponade vollständig aus der Wunde entfernt ist. Fixieren Sie die Tamponade ebenfalls, wie die UrgoSorb-Kompresse, durch einen Sekundärverband.

Wundheilung:
UrgoSorb ist für die lokale Versorgung mäßig bis stark nässender Wunden in der Reinigungs- und Granulationsphase, insbesondere bei postchirurgischen Wunden (Amputationswunden, Abszeßwunden, ) und chronischen Wunden (Dekubitus, Ulcus cruris...) geeignet.UrgoSorb kann auch zur Behandlung von Wunden angewendet werden, die klinische Anzeichen einer Infektion aufweisen, wenn dabei eine angemessene medizinische Überwachung gewährleistet ist. Die Wundauflage ist auch für hämorrhagische Wunden indiziert. UrgoSorb-Tamponade ist für die lokale Versorgung von Wundhöhlen (tiefe Wunden, zerklüftete Wunden, Steißbeinfisteln) bestimmt.
Blutstillung:
UrgoSorb ist eine Wundauflage, die die primäre Blutstillung von blutenden traumatischen und chronischen Wunden durch Aktivierung der Blutplättchen begünstigt.UrgoSorb-Tamponade ist für die lokale Behandlung von tiefen blutenden Wunden bestimmt.
Kontraindikationen:
Endonasale Tamponaden bei Nasennebenhöhlenoperationen.Trockene, nekrotisch belegte Wunden.Tiefe Verbrennungen, Verbrennungen 3. Grades.Leicht exsudierende Wunden.Bekannte Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber der Wundauflage.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen:
Nicht resorbierbar, UrgoSorb darf nicht als chirurgische implantierbare Kompresse angewendet werden.Die Wundauflage darf nicht zusammen mit antiseptischen, alkalischen Lösungen verwendet werden (physikalisch-chemische Unverträglichkeit).Sollten diese dennoch eingesetzt worden sein, sollte die Wunde unbedingt mit steriler physiologischer Kochsalzlösung vor der Anwendung von UrgoSorb-Kompressen oder Tamponaden gespült werden.Sterile Einzelverpackung nur zum Einmalgebrauch bestimmt: Die Wiederverwendung einer zum Einmalgebrauch bestimmten Wundauflage kann Infektionsrisiken hervorrufen.Überprüfen Sie die Unversehrtheit der sterilen Einzelverpackung. Nicht anwenden, wenn diese beschädigt ist.Nicht erneut sterilisieren.
