Der Urgosterile Verband ist ein steriler, selbstklebender Wundverband und besteht aus einer dehnbaren, weißen Vliesstoffrückseite, die mit einer Klebmasse beschichtet ist, und einer integrierten, absorbierenden Vlieskompresse, die mit einer an der Wunde nicht haftenden Schicht bedeckt ist.

Anwendungsgebiete:
Schutz und Abdeckung von oberflächlichen Wunden (Schürfwunden, Schnitte), schwach exsudierenden, genähten Wunden und postoperativen Wunden. Eine Wunde oder ein Schnitt wird als oberflächlich betrachtet, wenn nur die Haut oder die direkt darunter liegenden Fettschichten davon betroffen sind. Wenn eine unfallbedingte oberflächliche Wunde länger als 3 cm ist, sollte innerhalb von 6 Stunden nach dem Unfall ein Arzt aufgesucht werden, um zu beurteilen, ob die Wunde genäht oder behandelt (mit speziellem chirurgischen Klebstoff verklebt) werden muss.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen:
Bei Personen unter 16 Jahren muss der Verband von einem Erwachsenen angelegt werden.Steriler Einwegverband, einen bereits angelegten Verband nicht wieder verwenden oder neu positionieren: Infektionsgefahr und Beeinträchtigung der Haftkraft bei erneuter Fixierung und Verbleib auf der Wunde.Nicht erneut sterilisieren. Vor Gebrauch prüfen, ob der Sterilschutz unversehrt ist. Nicht verwenden, wenn die Packung beschädigt ist.Die Wunde und die Umgebung regelmäßig auf Anzeichen einer Infektion wie Schmerzen, Rötung, Ödeme, Geruch oder Eiterbildung überprüfen.Nicht bei tiefen, nicht genähten Wunden, bei Blutungen oder stark exsudierenden Wunden verwenden.Jeder schwerwiegende Vorfall im Zusammenhang mit dem Produkt muss dem Hersteller und der zuständigen nationalen Behörde gemeldet werden.
