Anwendungsgebiete:
Die Hydrokolloidpartikel der mikroadhäsiven TLC-Matrix nehmen in Kontakt mit dem Wundexsudat eine gelartige Konsistenz an und bilden einen Lipidokolloidfilm an der Grenzschicht zwischen Wunde und Wundauflage. Daraus ergeben sich folgende spezifische Eigenschaften:
Aufrechterhaltung eines für die Wundheilung günstigen physiologischen Milieus.Gelbildung in Kontakt mit der Wunde.Atraumatisches Ablösen der Wundauflage ohne Schädigung der neu gebildeten Gewebestrukturen.Schmerzfreie Verbandwechsel für den Patienten.Schutz der periläsionellen Haut [Wundumgebung].
Hinweise zur Anwendung:
UrgoTül Foam kann mit einer sterilen Schere zugeschnitten werden, um die Größe der Wundauflage an die Wunde anzupassen.
Vorbereitung der Wunde:
Die Wunde gemäß dem üblichen Pflegeprotokoll reinigen und anschließend mit steriler physiologischer Kochsalzlösung spülen.Die Wundumgebung sorgfältig trocknen.
Anlegen der Wundauflage:
Die Schutzfolien von der mikroadhäsiven Seite abziehen.Die mikroadhäsive Seite von UrgoTül Foam direkt auf die Wunde auflegen.Die Wundauflage mit einem Sekundärverband [z.B. Urgomull haft latexfrei] fixieren.Die Wundauflage kann je nach ärztlicher Verordnung auch unter einem Kompressionsverband [z.B. UrgoK2] verwendet werden.
Verbandwechsel:
UrgoTül Foam und UrgoTül Foam Heel sollten alle 2 bis 4 Tage gewechselt werden und können, in Abhängigkeit von der Exsudatmenge und dem klinischen Zustand der Wunde, bis zu 7 Tage auf der Wunde belassen werden.
Indikationen:
UrgoTül Foam ist für die Behandlung aller exsudierenden chronischen Wunden [z.B. Unterschenkelgeschwüre, Druckgeschwüre, Diabetische Fußulzera] und akuten Wunden [z.B. Verbrennungen 2. Grades, Hautabschürfungen, traumatische Wunden, postoperative Wunden] sowie zur lokalen Akutbehandlung von tumorinduzierten Wunden in Verbindung mit ihrer spezifischen Therapie geeignet.Die Fersenform [UrgoTül Foam Heel] ist für die Behandlung exsudierender Wunden im Fersenbereich geeignet: chronische Wunden [z.B. Fersendekubitus] und akute Wunden [z.B. Verbrennungen 2. Grades, Hautabschürfungen, traumatische Wunden, postoperative Wunden].Da UrgoTül Foam und UrgoTül Foam Heel keinen mit einer Klebemasse beschichteten Haftrand besitzen, sind diese Wundauflagen für die Behandlung von Wunden mit empfindlicher Wundumgebung geeignet.
Warnhinweise und Vorsichtsmaßnahmen:
Vor der Anwendung die Unversehrtheit der sterilen Einzelverpackung überprüfen. Ist diese beschädigt, ist die Sterilität nicht mehr gewährleistet und die betroffene Wundauflage darf nicht mehr verwendet werden.Die mikroadhäsive TLC-Matrix von UrgoTül Foam haftet an chirurgischen Latexhandschuhen. Es wird daher empfohlen, jeglichen Kontakt mit der beschichteten, mikroadhäsiven Seite zu vermeiden oder für das Auflegen des Verbandes sterile Pinzetten zu verwenden.Die gleichzeitige Anwendung einer Creme, einer Salbe oder einer Emulsion wird nicht empfohlen.Bei klinischen Anzeichen einer lokalen Infektion kann die Behandlung nach Einschätzung durch den behandelnden Arzt auf eine antibakterielle Wundauflage, wie z.B. UrgoCell Silver, umgestellt werden.Sterile Einzelverpackung nur zum Einmalgebrauch bestimmt: Die Wiederverwendung einer zum Einmalgebrauch bestimmten Wundauflage kann Infektionsrisiken hervorrufen.Die Wundauflage nicht erneut sterilisieren.
