Der Wundverband ist für die Verwendung unter einem Kompressionsverband geeignet, falls dieser verordnet wurde.
Der Wundverband besteht aus:
Einer mikroadhäsiven TLC-Matrix in Kombination mit einer saugfähigen.Polyurethan-Schaumstoffkompresse und einem superabsorbierendem Vlies.Einem dampfdurchlässigen jedoch wasserundurchlässigen äußeren Träger mit Silikonhaftrand.

TLC (Lipidokolloid-Technologie):
TLC ist eine patentierte innovative Technologie, die aus einer einzigartigen Kombination von Polymeren und Hydrokolloidpartikeln besteht, was für den Patienten schmerzfreie und atraumatische Entfernung bedeutet und gleichzeitig die Heilung fördert. Bei Kontakt mit dem Wundexsudat bilden diese Partikel ein Gel und schaffen ein feuchtes Milieu, das die Wundheilung begünstigt und in dem, die am Reparaturprozess wesentlich beteiligten Zellen (Fibroblasten, Keratinozyten, Makrophagen), ihre Wirkung entfalten können. Auf diese Weise liefert UrgoTül Foam Border optimale Wundheilungsergebnisse. Die Wirksamkeit von TLC wurde in mehreren klinischen Studien mit über 36.000 Patienten nachgewiesen.
Der wasserfeste Träger von UrgoTül Foam Border ist weich, sehr anpassungsfähig und nicht okklusiv: Er sorgt für eine gute Anpassung des Wundverbandes an das anatomische Relief der Wunde, verhindert das Austreten von Flüssigkeiten und schützt die Wunde vor einer bakteriellen Kontamination von außen. Seine hohe Dampfdurchlässigkeit sorgt für die Ableitung überschüssigen Exsudats und verhindert so Mazerationen. Zudem ist er dehnfähig und passt sich den Bewegungen des Körpers an, was die Tragefreundlichkeit für den Patienten erhöht. Indikationen:

Hinweise zur Anwendung:
Vorbereitung der Wunde:
Wunde gemäß geltendem Pflegeprotokoll reinigen.Falls zuvor ein Antiseptikum verwendet wurde, die Wunde vor dem Auflegen von UrgoTül Foam Border sorgfältig mit steriler physiologischer Kochsalzlösung spülen.Die umgebende Haut sorgfältig trocknen.
Anlegen des Wundverbandes:
Schutzfolie abziehen.Die mikroadhäsive Seite von UrgoTül Foam Border auf die Wunde auflegen (der Abstand zwischen der Wunde und dem adhäsiven Silikonhaftrand soll mindestens 1 cm betragen).Den Wundverband über der Wunde glattstreichen.Einen Kompressionsverband über den Wundverband anlegen, falls ein solcher verordnet wurde.
Anlegen von UrqoTül Foam Border Sacrum:
Den Wundverband mit dem spitzen Ende in Richtung des Sakralbereichs positionieren.
Entfernen des Wundverbandes:
Die gesunde Haut nach unten drücken, eine Ecke des Wundverbandes anheben und diesen vorsichtig ablösen.
Verbandwechsel:
Der Wundverband UrgoTül Foam Border sollte alle 2 bis 4 Tage gewechselt werden und kann in Abhängigkeit von der Exsudatmenge und dem klinischen Zustand der Wunde, bis zu 7 Tage auf der Wunde belassen werden.
Warnhinweise und Vorsichtsmaßnahmen:
Da der Wundverband ein superabsorbierendes Vlies enthält, darf die zentrale Kompresse nicht zugeschnitten werden. Die Haftränder können bei Bedarf jedoch mit einer sterilen Schere eingeschnitten werden, um den Wundverband an unterschiedliche anatomische Körperstellen anzupassen.Bei klinischen Anzeichen einer lokalen Infektion kann die Behandlung je nach ärztlicher Beurteilung auf eine antibakterielle Wundauflage umgestellt werden.Überschüssige Behaarung möglichst nahe der Haut entfernen, um einen guten Kontakt mit der Wunde sicherzustellen.Bei gleichzeitiger Anwendung einer Creme, einer Salbe oder einer Emulsion die Haut dem Auflegen des Wundverbandes trocknen lassen.UrgoTül Foam Border darf nicht in einer Überdruckkammer verwendet werden.Sterile Einzelverpackung zum Einmalgebrauch: Die Wiederverwendung eines zum Einmalgebrauch bestimmten Wundverbandes kann das Infektionsrisiko erhöhen.Vor der Verwendung prüfen, ob die Sterilbarriere intakt ist.
