Was ist D-Mannose?
D-Mannose - ein natürlicher Einfachzucker, der eng mit Fructose und Glucose verwandt ist - ist Bestandteil von Rezeptoren auf der Oberfläche der Zellmembranen. Er kommt in Lebensmitteln vor (z. B. in Äpfeln) und wird vom menschlichen Organismus zum Teil auch selbst produziert, jedoch nur in geringem Maße verwertet bzw. verstoffwechselt. Stattdessen wird er über Niere, Blase und Harnröhre ausgeschieden. Die empfohlene Tagesdosierung von 3 Portionssticks UroCys Mannose+ enthält 4,5 g aus der Birke gewonnene D-Mannose.
