The MSUH-3F is an access board that allows you to create new files that conform to USB memory or microSD cards with FAT16 and FAT32 compliant to data from existing files.
Uses a US GHI's ALFAT SoC chip to access USB memory and microSD card via asynchronous serial communication (UART) or synchronous serial communication (I2C) communication.
Command ASCII text base Easy to control from one chip microphone or Arduino.
Communications can be set either asynchronous serial communication (UART) or synchronous serial communication (I2C) by setting the mode pins. UART has a default communication speed of 115.2 kbps, and in I2C, this unit works as a slave device and is controlled from master devices such as microcontrols. Speed mode supports up to 400 kHz.
Slave address is fixed.
Compatible with FAT32 long file names No need to worry about handling long file names.
It also supports complex directory structures to create new folders to create new files, and access files from routes to deep hierarchy.
Up to 16 files can be expanded to a buffer called a file handle in the main unit. Both USB and TF card can be deployed simultaneously.
Real-time clock (RTC) feature allows you to give a time stamp on the file created date and time. You can also add a watch backup with a coin battery (CR2032).
We provide easy-to-follow manual in Japanese. Other IC manufacturers have released the data sheet and user manual.
