法国作家。1944年创作长篇历史小说《三个火枪手》（又译《三剑客》）获得成功，奠定了他作为历史小说家的地位。次年《基度山伯爵》问世，再次引起轰动。他一生勤奋写作，留下几十部戏剧作品和一百多部小说，是法国十九世纪多产、受民众欢迎的作家之一。

蒋学模（1918—2008），浙江慈溪人，经济学家，复旦大学经济学院教授。1936年入东吴大学经济系学习，抗战时期入川，1941年毕业于四川大学经济系。解放后转入复旦大学经济系工作。主要译著有《基度山伯爵》等。

　　亚历山大·仲马（Ａｌｅｘａｎｄｒｅ　Ｄｕｍａｓ，１８０２—１８７０）是十九世纪法国著名小说家。他的儿子也叫亚历山大·仲马（１８２４—１８９５），是著名的剧作家，以《茶花女》一剧闻名于世。父子同名又同时名噪于十九世纪的法国文坛，世人只能以大小仲马区别之。
　　其实，当父亲的大仲马一开始也是以剧作家出名的，只是后来，他的小说家的名声盖过了剧作家，才以小说家闻名于世。在所有法国的小说家中，大仲马的著作流传广，已是无可争辩的事实。
