温度已经升高了。
我戒了一段时间烟,但是这时候控制不住又点上了一根。太阳正在升起来,露水和闷热让人有些焦躁,烟能让我冷静下来。
“也许他早就走了。”胖子在边上也抽着烟,“你知道他的脾气,咱们就是太纯良了,老被老人家骗。”
“那他就算彻底得罪我了。”我想了想,觉得不是没有这种可能性。但是如果这种可能成真,我是应该恼怒,还是替他高兴?
潘子的墓碑在晨光中慢慢清晰起来,上面有些灰暗的刻字,描红都剥落了。字的一笔一画我都很熟悉,那是我自己写的。
很长时间我都没有接受潘子不在我身边了这个事实。如今,我接受了。十年后,即使没有他,我坐在墓碑前面,也没有一丝的动摇。
有人拼命想从石头变成一个人,而我,却不知不觉变成了一块石头。
胖子在潘子面前倒上一麻袋纸钱,用打火机点起来,我从包里掏出几条白沙烟,压到纸钱上面。
“这么有钱了,还不给大潘整点儿高级货!”胖子道。
“这是给我自己备的。”我对他说。如果这次不成,那这些烟就先烧在潘子那儿。说句玩笑话,如果三叔也在下面,估计这两个人已经把阎王爷整下来等着我下去享受荣华富贵呢,我给自己准备点儿心头好没错。
胖子在潘子墓碑前念念有词,我大概都知道他会说些什么,这么多年,懒得听也懒得说他了。
一堆纸钱烧了15分钟才烧完,我站起来,胖子也站了起来,我们都看着对方。胖子的鬓角有些白发了,但是他的气质一点儿都没有变化,而我变了太多。
不管怎么说,已经经历过那一切的人,是不可能错过这一刻的。
“走了走了,别矫情了。”胖子拍着我,“你得努力找回你以前的感觉,这是后一次了,咱得开开心心地把这事办了。”
我们走到公墓外,几个伙计正在不停地打电话,看到我们过去都迎了上来。我晃了晃手腕,给他们下达命令,他们往各自的车队跑去。
