作者简介
司马光（1019年11月17日—1086年），字君实，号迂叟，汉族，陕州夏县（今山西夏县）涑水乡人，世称涑水先生，北宋政治家、史学家、文学家。历仕仁宗、英宗、神宗、哲宗四朝，卒赠太师、温国公，谥文正，为人温良谦恭、刚正不阿；做事用功刻苦、勤奋。以“日力不足，继之以夜”自诩，其人格堪称儒学教化下的典范，历来受人景仰。 宋仁宗时中进士，英宗时进龙图阁直学士。宋神宗时，反对王安石施行变法，朝廷内外有许多人反对，司马光就是其中之一。王安石变法以后，司马光离开朝廷十五年，主持编纂了中国历 年体通史《资治通鉴》。生平著作甚多，主要有史学巨著《资治通鉴》、《温国文正司马公文集》、《稽古录》、《涑水记闻》、《潜虚》等。

楚昭奚恤为相。江乙言于楚王日：“人有爱其狗者，狗尝溺井，其邻人见，欲入言之，狗当门而噬之。今昭奚恤常恶臣之见，亦犹是也。且人有好扬人之善者，王日：‘此君子也。’近之；好扬人之恶者，王日：‘此小人也。’远之。然则且有子弑其父、臣弑其主者，而王终己不知也。何者?以王好闻人之美而恶闻人之恶也。”王日：“善。寡人愿两闻之。” 十七年 秦大良造卫鞅伐魏。
诸侯围魏襄陵。
十八年秦卫鞅围魏固阳，降之。
魏人归赵邯郸，与赵盟漳水上。
韩昭侯以申不害为相。申不害者，郑之贱臣也，学黄、老、刑名，以干昭侯。昭侯用为相，内修政教，外应诸侯，十五年，终申子之身，国治兵强。申子尝请仕其从兄，昭侯不许，申子有怨色。昭侯日：“所为学于子者，欲以治国也。今将听子之谒而废子之术乎，已其行子之术而废子之请乎?子尝教寡人修功劳，视次第；今有所私求，我将奚听乎?”申子乃辟舍请罪日：“君真其人也。”昭侯有弊挎，命藏之。
