Don't be fooled by these Radios, the coverage of these radios really surprised me. Only flaw based on what they're being used for, is the long antenna which creates problem when clipped on your side. Your shirt or T-Shirt tends to bend the antenna. However, the antennas can be changed, see link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P6JHTVF?th=1The other slight issue is the length of the earpiece cable, it tends to pop out of your ear due to the short distance between waist and head. I've tested it in a 2 mile mountainous area and coverage was fine. Battery life, left them on overnight after being used for 3hrs between 1pm - 3pm. The following day at around 11am one radio gave a voice notification to "charge battery", the other followed about an hour later.

The included earpiece and belt clip were easy to install and just as much fun to use during the day. We were blown away by the quality of these radios.
